Fen Gao (高芬), associate professor, has been working in the School of International Studies in Shaanxi Normal University in China since 1999. Her academic fields are translation & interpreting theory and practice, plus English Language teaching.During 2009-2010 and 2015-2016, she stayed in the University of Massachusetts in US and Nottingham University in UK as a visiting scholar.
Prof. Gao has successively published more than 20 papers in a number of Chinese and foreign academic journals in the last decade. She has also published more than 10 translated works and hosted or participated in a dozen of national and provincial-level projects regarding translation and language teaching, including the National Academic Translation project funded byChinese Fund for the Humanities and Social Sciencesin 2015.
